The Ultimate Kingdom Hearts Merch Idea
With cosplayers and tutorials online, having your on Keyblade is a simple affair. We have action figures, manga, novels, games, everything! EXCEPT…one thing. One thing which I have just thought of over a Skype chat with a friend. I give you the ultimate Kingdom Hearts Merchandise idea.
This right here. The Station of Awakening….as a massive floor carpet/rug/mat
Admit it, you’d want that BADLY. Square, Disney…you have my full permission to steal this idea, if only for it to become a reality
I told you it was coming!!! I regret NOTHING! YOU HEAR ME!? NOTHING!!
I found this on TV tropes, I thought I’d share it with you. Regarding Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. Don’t worry, it’s spoiler free
The Symphony of Sorcery World uses a different suit of classical music for Sora and Riku each: The Sixth Symphony by Beethoven for Sora and The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky for Riku. This doesn’t seem to mean much at first… Until you realize that both, the initially intended meanings of the pieces as well as the animated shorts done for them for Fantasia both apply to the characters in some way: The Sixth Symphony’s form is supposed to represent five stages of a trip to somewhere: Awakening of cheerful feelings upon arrival in the country, Scene at the brook, Happy gathering of country folk, Thunderstorm, Shepherds’ song; cheerful and thankful feelings after the storm. This can be interpreted to represent the structure of pretty much all the Disney-World Visits that Sora has done during his time as a Keyblade Wielder: Arrival, Exploration, Meeting, Danger, Aftermath. Meanwhile, the Fantasia Short the piece was used for is mainly set on Mt. Olympus… In other words, in the sky, reflecting Sora’s name. Over on Riku’s side, the Nutcracker is a ballet about a prince who was transformed into something useless, but saved, returned to his true form and then went on to protect his land. This can be loosely applied to Riku’s own story. Meanwhile, the Fantasia Short which used the music depicts the change of seasons and nature, heavily featuring flowers and the like as it does so… Which fits with Riku’s name, “land”, as opposed to Sora’s “sky”. This is reflected in their Reality Shifts for that world too: Sora’s Reality Shift manipulates Clouds and Wind, while Riku’s causes flowers to bloom and lakes to freeze over with solid ice to stand on (Somewhat creating “land”).
ONE. MORE. DAY. TILL. KH3D.
I can make it….it’s only one more day….24 hours….you waited two years for this game, you can wait one more day…

URGE. TO BUILD KEYBLADE. RISING!
How I feel about the Nintendo Store event in NYC
“Don’t be mad, it’s only two more days! You can’t rush perfection y’know, and this game is PERFECTION!”
“And the event was so AWESOME! You even got to get your picture taken with a Keyblade! How cool is that!? They even gave you a nifty little bag!!”
“It was a once in a lifetime thing! An event perfectly fitting for the 10th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts!”
My Cosplay Stuff
In honor of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance three short days away, I decided to post some of my cosplaying stuff. I USED to cosplay KH2 Sora, but I stopped it. Why? Because to me…Kingdom Hearts cosplays have gotten overdone. What do I mean? The THOUSANDS of Organization XIII cosplayers and the Yaoi Fangirls who cosplay Sora and Riku.
Not that I’m saying your liking it is wrong. Everyone can like what they like and cosplay what they like…but…it just doesn’t seem fun anymore y’know? So, I vowed to put a new spin on KH cosplays. To show people to really have fun with the concept!
Some of you may have seen me at major Florida conventions:
Me as Mushroom Kingdom Hearts Mario
Me dueling the wielder of that Pocky Keyblade I’ve seen around Tumblr. If anyone knows who that is, please let me know so I can follow on Tumblr!!
A picture of me by Archercalloway!
This is a very bad picture of me with my Keyblade inspired by Scott Pilgrim, minus the Keychain.
I’ve named this Keyblade the Combo King. The Mario one is the Power-Up
This is my newest creation, a Sonic the Hedgehog Keyblade, the Blue Blur.
I’ll post more cosplay pics in the future!
